motion sickness question

in quake 4 the bob cvar commands can’t be changed in multiplayer mode which for me means i can play the game for approximately 5 minutes and then have to stop because of motion sickness.

will this limitation be as well the case for quake wars?

I believe you can turn it off if the server is set up to allow it.

But for me a low fps gives me motion sickness (low being under 60) more than the bob and roll.
