My most gratifying ET moment was constantly kicking this one jackass.

Friends and former clanmates of mine hop on teamspeak and go pubbing, we don’t team stack there were 3 and 3 of us on axis ans allies. The ones on allies keep talking about this guy who spwan tks them. They get a kick, he rejoins does the same thing. Kick rejoin starts name spoofing.

So we try calling votes to ref so we can keep this guy out of the game, eventually i get reffed. And end up kicking this guy whenever we could figure out it was the same guy (wasn’t that hard to be honest) He eventually joined axis so that he could run over my mine’s and file so that eventually i’d be kicked, by that time we called another ref vote so someone else could take care of him (non clanmate to be fair).

It was great being able to keep the game playable, and also being able to hear ‘he’s running right for your mines … kick him … kick him’ over ts. was an amusing night.

in all fairness, i think he may have bee one of the 138 guys. And this might not be the best first impression for the forums, but got he was an asshole and i felt vindicated kicking him. Got the wrong guy once though, apologized profusely next time i saw him.

The same reason allies LOSE fuel depot with 29 seconds left because they haven’t planted. Because as we all know, it takes 30 seconds for dynamite to blow up an objective, and if they allies (on goldrush) were moving the truck but there’s still the truck barrier up… then there’s clearly not enough time to blow the barrier and escort the truck to the gate.

I was on axis on oasis, allies had blown up one gun already. With about 33 seconds on the clock, they plant at the second gun. I’m killed on the way to defuse it, and it blows. But because the map has a ~5 second timer after the second gun blows before it ends the game, axis won. Allies were pissed.

I was playing an Allied engi on Oasis. We got the north gun fairly early on but it had been a hard game against a well organised and competent Axis team. In the last 5 minutes I had managed to plant at the south gun and was cowering in the corner of the room listening to a stampede of footsteps heading my way.

I stupidly moved to the doorway, gun in hand, to see who they were and thought I’d have no chance against the three determined looking geezers heading towards me. So it proved. I’d been down to about half health before I planted and they soon took me out. But the rearmost of the three was a soldier with a panzerfaust. He fired it just after his two engi teammates had fragged me and entered the room. From my limbo state I watched as the two Axis engis got gibbed before they could defuse and saw the culprit killed by the explosion in the confined space. The gun was destroyed and I’m not sure what was funnnier, the sight of the three Axis going up in smoke, or the team’s recriminations on the chatboard between games. Took me about half an hour to stop laughing.

Beating Axis in under four minutes as Allies on Oasis, having the server admin get pissed, reset the map and beating them again in under six.

A couple…

Radar, I noticed two people (allies) had played together before so I followed them to the side entrance. We blew the door and got the parts before the bunker was captured. I planted dyno from the inside of the main entrance and the two of us with the radar parts ran to the truck and secured the parts. Took about five minutes.

Another was when I jumped into a game with like five minutes left and single handidly got both sets of radar parts with less than two minutes to go.

And it may not compare to some others, but getting 10 knife kills (and remaining uncompromised as a covert) on Gold Rush was a personal best.

I love my panzerfaust , I really do , oh yeah ! I named her Sweet Sally. I caress my Sweet Sally, she treats me so good taking out those meanie Axis. I treat her to a good polish every night. I’m hugging her right now , I never go anywhere without her, ohhhhhh yeah baby , show me some sugar tonite! :eek2:

Oasis, me playing allies.

We had just captured the old city and planted at the wall, and I jumped onto the roof of the building facing the spawn. There I found an axis soldier camping with a MG, so I knifed him. :smiley: I rushed towards the door and got there just as it opened. When the enemy saw me he tried to get back inside, but couldn’t because his teammate was right behind him. So I killed them both (the first one probably got some friendly bullets in his back), and managed to rush inside. :blah: Then I heard the other door opening, so I crouched just inside the second room. Guess if that one was surprised to meet me in there… :eek3:

That’s when I realised demo recording was off (as usual when something like this happens). Damn.

So there I was inside a locked building. What to do? Instead of killing myself immediately I started banging the door, and it didn’t take long before they opened it for me. One more dead axis soldier and I was free!

I rushed around the corner and found a FieldOp handing ammo to a medic. Since the FieldOp was facing the medic I managed to kill him before any of them could start shooting. When I had to reload I just ran over the med packs they had saved for me :clap: , and then I was able to take out the medic too.

But the most satisfying moment was when the game was over and I told people I got stuck inside that building. I was finally called a cheater! :smiley:

Rifle grenade engie. Truck has been stopped just after the first barrier, time running out. Jump down from balcony, repair truck, strafe left, fire grenade down alley, kill 2 axis (they were meant to be an ambush)

Backtrack with truck towards second barrier. Right on cue, 2nd barrier explodes (thanks to teammate with GREAT sense of timing). Use rifle grenades to stop axis getting too close, get the truck out with 0:07 (James Bond) seconds left on the clock.

Axis are busy posting ‘gg’ and the likes, slapping themselves on the back, and suddenly the ‘Allies win’ message appears.

About 30 seconds of ‘wtf?’ follows.

Well this is a bit of Schadenfreude/dark humour…

I was playing as axis on Fueldump with my housemate Cake on the same side. We were canaing allies to the point of spawn camping them, so I soon got bored handing out ammo, and because I didn’t want to spawn camp, had to find other ways of amusing myself until they broke through.

Saw Cake sniping from just below the first axis mg tower and thought it would be fun to scare him by pretending to be an allied knifer…got behind him whipped out the knife andstabbed the air a few times…he got to his feet so fast I pissed myself…he wasn’t impressed.

Well, allies still hadn’t broke through so I did my ammo rounds and went back to taunt the housemate again (lol). Same thing happened but this time he gave me a hefty K43 shot to warn me not to do it again (ouch…teamwounder!).

So, i thought he’d had enough of this game so I left him to give ammo out nearby, then I hear the sound of a knife and in bottom left of screen it said “ii.Cake was stabbed by ****'s Knife”.

He was really pissed at me cos although he heard the guy coming with his knife…he thought it was me again trying to piss him off!
