Mortars: Poll and Comments on weapon

So now the final is out and I’m wondering if people have tried it, been on the receiving end of it, or just don’t care.

On the Radar and Fuel Depot maps, I am certain they can be very effective.

also useful on Goldrush since there are certain spots where the defenders congregate

I’ve honestly never used the mortar…ever. Maybe I should.

Then again, it kinda ticks me off when some idiot on my own team keeps on killing me with his mortars. But hey, that’s what my Panzerfaust is for. He gibs me, I gib him…and many surrounding teammates. sigh Revenge is sweet. :angry:

Hmm, good point! I was thinking that the buildings would be too tall and I’d never get a shot over :slight_smile:

The new mortar is really nice and I had a lot of fun playing around with it yesterday.
It should be a very useful weapon with some practice to reduce the trial and error shooting. Good job SD!

Mortors are pretty effective weapons.
but they can truly be effective if you have some good covert ops on your teams behind lines so that they can transmit the location of the enemy on the command map, so the mortors know where to launch.
