you have to use a key for your command map …(menu>options>controls)

Expand the the command map while mortaring…when the mortarnade hits the ground…u should see a icon on the commandmap that indicates where it hits more specificly.

First go to alternate fire mode to set up the mortar. This i believe is Mouse 2 by default…but can be changed in options.

Then choose the direction and angle and let her rip. (Note: 90 isnt very healthy)

The command map will show you where your shots fall (Default key: G)
Also Artillery will be shown on your command map, along with enemy troop movements if a friendly covert is viewing them. You can use this info to guide your shots. It generally takes about 5 seconds from when you fire a shot till it hits.

P.S READ THE MANUAL! It isnt very long! :blah:

by the way for u mappers, i found that the ceiling for the mortar is <2000 above current position for 90degrees, so to prevent your mortar fire going into void make sure your ceiling is over 2000 above your highest point in the map
