More aimbot hackers?

Education simply isn’t going to work with the closed minded people who can’t get it through their mind that they’re not unbeatable, invincible gods of the gaming community.

Humble words I live by in the gaming community:

There will always be someone better than you.

Where I disagree is when I see other people say something along the lines of: “No one is hacking, you are just bad.” Telling other players that is not going to make anything better.
Sorry but no, I actually think that’s the appropiate response. Because the vast majority of the time it’s just paranoia instead of actual hacks. Telling players they need to suck it up and improve means eventually they’ll see they can do the same things the so called hacker could do, and realize they were too hasty.

Really that is the best way to get hackusations to stop, is to get better at the game, and understand how they’re doing something, rather than blame it on a cheat.

I think the number false accusations people make are being exaggerated. There is nothing wrong with being skeptical.

Just as @KUST__LunarTM pointed out players causally throwing out hackusations is very upsetting. I’ve been called a hacker a couple of times when I play as vassili and yes it does piss me off sometimes but it’s uncommon.

The best way to stop hackusations is to educate people on what hacking is, and what it is not. Telling people other’s are not hacking and they are just bad is a horrible method. It clearly doesn’t seem to be working on these forums.

I’d also like to thank @SkrubLord for pointing out something you are missing. No one here is claiming this game is full of hackers or spreading false hackusations. I just came on here and shared my experience of “questionable” gameplay, one in which there was a confirmed hacker.
If you think constant accusations aren’t an issue then you need to play a day in my shoes. Not only do I rarely ever see anybody cheating but I constantly get bullsh*t hurled my way.

Some people on these forums and in discord have brought me “proof” of people cheating that was “overwhelmingly obvious”. Then I saw this proof and the people who were so sure about their declaration ended up being entirely wrong. They had no clue what they were talking about in virtually every case. And I’m not talking about the obvious aimbots. A 5 year old can see that and those aren’t even worth talking about. But the sheer amount of people that have shown me their proof in non-obvious situations have been, at times, hilariously wrong.

So yes, in my experience people do the accusation thing way too much. And there are a lot of backseat anti-cheat people who don’t even understand the very basics of the game (some of whom post on this forum in an authoritative manner too). It’s pretty riling from my perspective.

Nothing is wrong with talking about cheating and ways to get rid of it. These threads are rarely closed. But there is so much misinformation out there it’s hard to take people seriously. Which is why the topic typically turns into what this thread has become.
I can close it if you want Skrublord. Just let me know.
@Amerika Just close it, I’ve already stated why.
