missing models in Enemy Territory

when im replaying my demos I made in ET 2.60 with ETPro 3.2.0, the mp40 model and the ammo pack model is missing. It just shows 3 lines taht are red, blue, and green. does anyone know how to fix this?

You probably have somekind of mod/skinpack in you etmain or etpro folder that causes this.

Look to z_…pk3 's they are most of the times named like that

Thanks for the fast post, but still, no dice. I tried removing anything that seemed suspicious but there wasn’t any. I only have trickjump maps and some other things. Could it be with the pak0.pk3?

And this is ONLY happening in the replays, not in-game.

Def sounds like a random skin pack in your etmain folder, dont know which it might be but do not…I repeat…DO NOT delete pak0.pk3. Without it its a reinstall of ET matey.

Ok, I tried all of your things, and I found out that I had Bobots mod. I removed that and reinstalled ET, but it’s still happening.

I use ET 2.55 when playing on servers, and view them on ET 2.60 with ETPro. I have to rename the file to a .DM_84 file instead of a .DM_82 one (ET 2.55 one). Could THIS be the problem?

Why do you think they use another name if it were the same format? So they’re simply not compatible…

So, any fixes? (besides me going using ET 2.6) If the replay isn’t “compatible”, then how come it IS? Only two models are missing, so it’s highly probable that this is not the problem.

Install a fresh new copy of ET(into a new directory), patch it & add your ETPRO as needed.

Before, when you uninstalled and then reinstalled, you never deleted the directory of downloaded files that could be this problems source.

i’ve only ever seen this in shrub, and i’ve never seen a fix for it - including a reinstall. then again i disable downloads, so maybe you NEED to download something which i’ve always been missing…
