Mines and Turrets

I think they need to have their damage drastically reduced and instead have a slowing effect on players. That way their fire becomes highly undesirable and makes players easy to kill by human players but when left unguarded the turrets can be easily disposed off because the slowing effect is no longer a truly negative factor.

Turrets should only be strong in combination with a player. Left on their own they need to be fragile.

Maybe they should throw custard pies while making clown honking noises. If we’re going to have turrets that are either not turrets shooting people or are so weak as to be inconsequential then just remove them or remake them into something else. Nothing more frustrating to have things in games that absolutely fail at doing that they are meant to do. Same goes for mines, if you can run past them and get away with minimal damage then they are not mines, replace with a nice confetti explosion instead.

The slowing effect should be considerable.

LMAO  funny but oh so true. bean bags crossed my mind. that take 1 health.
they have to be strong otherwise as sockdog said not worth having. mines and turrets should need a nade to kill them.
and at least stay on their feet for a period of time. iv got stronger tea cups.

Paintball turret, makes you glow bright.

I’d suggest a bean bag gun just makes the player cry and so obscures their vision until their Mum arrives at the school to reassure them.

I would like to know the status of my turret/mines in the ui as well if that is possible. They currently dont show up at all in anything unless you look at the turret.
As an example i have died to an enemies turret after they placed it in the exact same spot as mine (bastard!) because i assumed it was mine as there was nothing to tell me otherwise if not paying total attention. So clearer turret labelling would be nice as well!
