He started going by his real name, Francis, joined a gang with his buds Duke and Danny, fell in love with a woman named Sandra and life was great.

Too bad the zombie apocalypse ruined everything. Luckily, he ran into three of his old buddies. Namely, Red Eye, Proxy and Sawbonez.

Redeye’s tragic story

He was gonna be a dad. He was so proud. He trained day and night with bad jokes and puns, even going as far as to take classes. But then his son was killed or shipped off in the resulting Australian incident of 2060, and ever since Redeye has fought to satisfy the hole in his heart.

Also that’s why his jokes suck.

Im fairly sure that Redeye is Phantoms father… quotes like “If my dad shows up, poof, Im out of here.” make me think this, as the only true hard counter to Phantom is Redeye. In the role call Redeye refers to Phantom as a lousy galla (think I spent that wrong), which would fit with the lore stories for both of these guys that Redeye dislikes his son so he signed him up for the refractive program, Phantom then stole the armour and got Redeye discharged from service by doing something incriminating with livestock ( take that as you will Im farily sure thats how the lore puts it.). Not to mention that Redeye is definitely old enough.
So yeh. Makes out for an interesting father-son rivalry.
