recently i saw some xbox360 demos, one among them was the game kameo. graphically it’s really exciting, but there was one thing that bugged me: you could clearly see repetitve textures on the ground which imo looks ugly.

look at the grass. you clearly can see that it’s repetitive.
my question: is this drawback solved with the megatexture technology?
