Hey swolenator I’m adding your youtube abilities comparison video, thanks for that
MEGA On The Brink Guide (Playability, tricks, tips)
I don’t think that is possible. All commands that start with _ can only be used alone. Most if not all the actions have an _ in front of the command. Stuff like _moveup, _selfInteract, _reload, _etc.
Good idea but I think you are gonna have to settle for binding it to it’s own key.
Another thought that might kinda work is to clear the cache when you chat…
I don’t know if it will work but it might do the trick…?..?..
bind ENTER “clientMessageMode ; clearGlyphCache”
bind u “clientMessageMode 2 ; clearGlyphCache”
bind y “clientMessageMode 1 ; clearGlyphCache”
As an alternative, you can create a file named defaultmap.cfg and put it beside your autoexec.cfg. Then add
seta g_execMapConfigs 1
to your autoexec.cfg and the clearGlyphCache command to the defaultmap.cfg. So the glyph cache will be cleared on each map initialization.

Thanks AltoKnallo, can someone confirm this to add it to the guide?
yw. btw. the defaultmap.cfg seems to be the fallback only. If you create the following files
[STEAMPATH]\userdata\[STEAMID]\22350\local\base\maps\mp\aquarium.cfg
[STEAMPATH]\userdata\[STEAMID]\22350\local\base\maps\mp\ccity.cfg
[STEAMPATH]\userdata\[STEAMID]\22350\local\base\maps\mp\reactor.cfg
[STEAMPATH]\userdata\[STEAMID]\22350\local\base\maps\mp\refuel.cfg
[STEAMPATH]\userdata\[STEAMID]\22350\local\base\maps\mp\resort.cfg
[STEAMPATH]\userdata\[STEAMID]\22350\local\base\maps\mp\sectow.cfg
[STEAMPATH]\userdata\[STEAMID]\22350\local\base\maps\mp\shipyard.cfg
[STEAMPATH]\userdata\[STEAMID]\22350\local\base\maps\mp erminal.cfg
than you can have different configs for each map (etqw like).
Maybe interesting for your guide:

Not sure if wanted to add this video too or not. It shows some of the agents of change dlc. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hu2e0HgTey4
Wanted to point out that the FPS config listed in the first point gave me an additional 20FPS. Love the digital textures (which is all the rage these days). Bravo.
