This week I have read (and added to - yes, I have been weak) a terrible amount of drivel on this board. It is no longer the elite gentlemen’s club that it once was. Soon I will have to find pastures new. Maybe I will ask my companions at this evening’s whist drive to see if they have any suggestions. Posting in my bow tie just doesn’t feel “right” anymore.

Dear chap, I fear I know exactly what you mean. Well, you know, it’s the school holidays, people are impatient for some big game releases, it’s the Gold Open at Royal Troon, all things apt to make folk flighty and spammacious. One rises above it. Eventually. Some gnashage of teeth is permitted, but nothing that should lead to soiled spats or disordered antimacassars.
One of the many delights of Prestwick Airport (apart from the magnificent Gracelands Bar) is the proximity of the Troon Massiv. Troon Armeh, Troon Armeh!
In all seriousness, I LOVE the Open. I love any major gold tournament on a links course. Because every so often, you’ll get to see the world’s greatest players get a shot really, REALLY wrong and the sea wind catches the ball and carries it to another postcode. Just like ordinary mortals. VERY satisfying.

Could not agree with you more on that. Although interesting at first to watch someone bomb a 350 yrd. drive, after the 40th time, it does get a bit stale. Thats where the misplayed hook or slice comes into play, and of course, the little splash of water and groan from crowd as the ball slowly sinks to the bottom 
Ahh, the Golf Groan. Second only to the Golf Ripple, that polite albeit slightly embarassed round of applause resulting from a bogey or worse.
I wish we could have similar audio in-game. You know when that rifle grenade doesn’t quite make the target, or bounces back onto a teammate? “Awwwww…”

i also notice not too many people like nutter, whats wrong with him? he seems ok to me, he has abit of spam but he seems useful in the level designers section
BTW he used to be in +>V<+ we liked him, he left tho because of loads of work he has to do

Reason I ask, is that for some reason crazy nutter added me to his msn, never talks to me :(, and now his name is… “+>V<+ Oxygen - NO MORE SCHOOL YAY!!! - REDHAT 8 is no more, going Gnoppix”, apart from the obvious, Nutter was going on about Redhat a while ago…
