Max lvl 20 is a rip off

(gmonet420) #1

Only being able to get to lvl 20 is a rip off, had this game 5 days beat every lvl and lvled up a character to lvl 20 did all challenges and already am tired of the maps, I need to know that there is going to be a simple team deathmatch or ctf coming in the DLC or else I am going to have to trade this game in. 5 days and already bored… what’s that tell you? That maybe I play too much… you would think so but if it had a timer keeping track of how much i’ve played its probably been about 2 hours… I know many have said this and will continue to say this but if you read these forums before buying the game… dont buy it… rent it… not worth 60 dollars. I am the top over all player and the player with the most kills in every single round I play and its still not fun… epic fail. gg SD.

BTW played this on xbox 360 doubt PC or PS3 are any different or better… wait for a different game to come out if your going to buy one, this one is garbage.

If you’re playing a game purely for ranks, unlocks and XP then maybe you should jump ship to MMO’s instead of expecting similar depth from a shooter. I play the game as a shooter, expecting a shooter, and getting a shooter… if you expected anything else then what does that tell you?

(gmonet420) #3

MMO on xbox 360? unheard of.

(Cr4zy) #4

So you only play the game to rank up…?

Games don’t have to be designed around ranking up, and 2 hours to rank all characters to rank 20, lol. Quality game obviously not meant for those console players who just like to rank up.

Maybe realise this game isn’t meant to be your standard dull 70 level 15 prestige cod.

(keefy) #5

Do your fellow xboxers a favour and not host 16 player match that way you wont LAg.

Makes me wonder what these players did before the FPS genre turned to wranking

(INF3RN0) #6

I think your playing bots, and TDM is boring.

(Ainokeato) #7

Five days and you’re bored after leveling your characters to cap and beating the missions and what-ifs. What does that tell me? It tells me you’ve been neglecting school, or you don’t have a job, either way you have too much time on your hands, go outside.

(asmo) #8

very, very bad reply. maybe he play at work ? you’re so quick with judging peoples.

(Vagabond) #9

Do kids these days know how to play for fun? like… wow. ****ing levels ruining my gaming.

(Trypsinogen) #10

I understand you, OP.

The more I play this game, the more it makes me rage. I want to love it, but I have decent standards and so can’t accept this P.o.S.

(Boltthrower) #11

I will never understand this type of gamer.

(Cheerio) #12

Im over a week in and I still am only lvl 18. I dont see how ppl say lvl 20 is so easy. Im finding it a long haul

(Trypsinogen) #13

I already have 2 level 20’s and a third level 14.

Some of us aren’t casual gamers and are on summer break from school.

I use level 3 escort challenge to get 8k XP/10 mins.

First OP, it’s not really okay to use “gay” or “gayness”–however you spell it–as a pejorative. Not saying you’re a homophobe or anything, but there are better words you can use to get your point across.

Second, I don’t understand your logic. How will TDM or CTF make the game less repetitive for you? In the end, wouldn’t you just be playing those modes over and over the same way you’re playing the objective-based matches in the game currently? Sure, I guess more modes would add some variety, but you’d be going from matches where there’s a lot to do–planting charges, hacking consoles, escorting VIPs, capturing command posts, etc.–to matches with just one thing to do–kill everyone or go from point A to point B. If anything, that sounds MORE repetitive to me.

Sounds like the game isn’t for you.

The game’s not about maximizing XP and leveling up. It’s about using teamwork to accomplish objectives. The fun is in the different playstyle and focus each class has and using those as part of a team. The fun is in playing as a team, facing a challenging opposing team, succeeding and almost succeeding. That’s exactly what I expected from splash damage, having played ETQW.

I think you should maybe know what you’re getting into before you spend your money. they just anounced Modern Warfare 3 yesterday, I’m sure you’ll be all over that, seems like a better place for your gaming desires.

(KAS--Will) #17

K, you leveled up 1 character, now go own… or just make another character and do it all over until June when the new maps arrive.

(dommafia) #18

It’s hillarious that the 8 maps with interchanging objectives is boring to him but he wants tdm where is just KILL KILL KILL KILL KILL lololol.

(KAS--Will) #19

Lol what’s even funnier is that’s the way all shooters have been for the past 20+ years.

wha… dude, it’s like you took all my thoughts right out my head.

Well said, although you do make the point, it would add more variety.
