Okay then, apparently everyone is getting on it.
Markiplier Plays Dirty Bomb!
Oh boy ! My favourite one !
If Markiplier plays it, expect a LOT of people incoming very soon. Let’s just now wait for PewDiePie to play it, and it’s the Jackpot for Splash Damage.
doubt that would make me want to play, 3 clueless idiots on Red Bull, #1 goof complains about Rhino’s shotgun for half the round before he realizes he has a minigun. I’m thinking this was a Nexon idea, paying them $1000 each to say it’s ok for a free game
I hope TB comes back and reviews Dirty Bomb at some point. He’s not a person trying to appeal to the rapid random word spongebob squarepants generation (or just 12 year olds) like these guys and he actually knows how to play FPS games fairly well.
Any exposure for a game like this is good exposure because a lot of people will download it and realize it’s pretty good. So despite me not really liking that video or how they showed off the game there is some positive.
Yeah, the unnatural parody announcer voice, the forced laughs, the goofy sidekicks who make random noises and the quick edits…it just isn’t for me. They seem like super nice guys but they are definitely going for a segment of the YT crowd that isn’t me. Apparently though he has a lot of people who like him so good on him.
We literally watched them play their first couple of games in this video. If they managed to figure out their ability in their first game as Rhino and 2nd game overall then they are doing better then a lot of people, imho. The point is the video shows them enjoying the gameplay, which I think is great PR.
While they may market their videos toward certain types of people, the exposure is fantastic.

TB doesn’t review games that are still in beta because it’s not the full product.
He did however play some closed beta footage on the background of one of his vlogs a while back.

He had a text review on steam I am fairly sure, but said several times he would revisit it on release.
Well, that was painful to watch at first… I was always like “SHOOT THAT GUY ! SHOOT HIM GOD DAMMIT !”. It went a bit better after.
I cant stand these types of YouTubers acting childish and making weird sounds for entertainment, but hey i guess a lot of younger people enjoy watching them.
I guess chalk that up to what sells. A lot of more ‘mature’ people don’t have as much time to spend watching videos on youtube. They cater to what sells really.
I’ve just sent to Markiplier a message just to tell him how to use the movement system in DB. I doubt he’ll read it, but at least I tried.
Not really fanboying, though I admit I love that guy. Just trying to help a new player I guess.
This game definitely has potential, I can watch it grow as did another game, Warframe did. Both games do great jobs of being cooperative.
From reading some of the comments on this vid it seems the Angry Joe one did a fair bit of harm, shaping some people’s perceptions that the game is Pay to win.

fortunately this doesnt appear to be the case , if you look at games this type of youtuber plays they never get a big jump from being played, people are tuning in to see a retard scream like a pre pubescent girl not to watch what they are playing.
Can we maybe not mention that game here? (jk jk it’s just that lot’s of people don’t like Warframe :P)
I love this guy, he’s definitely not for everyone but I still find his stuff fun to watch.
And I quite liked Spongebob when it didn’t suck so…yea shut yo face.
fun to watch ?
was painful here, goof # 1 makes a point of the review being sponsored and then the 3 scrubs almost know what charities they’re donating to, so they got minimum $1,000 each for the review which covered nothing except goof # 1 not realizing the minigun guy had a minigun, never touched on the outstanding concerns over P2W or loadout grind, and finally mentioned it was OK for free game
