No idea how much they actually got paid, but they make a TON of money from these videos based on viewership. They will most likely earn more than $1,000 just from the view they will receive.
Not to mention it is bad policy to not make it clear that you were sponsored to make a review. Like he said at the beginning though, they can’t pay him to actually like it.
The best part about the video is that it showed them having fun. I don’t care what they talked about much, or that a lot of the conversation wasn’t related to DB. A video that will break a million views showed players having fun in the game.
Good enough for me. 
And not every review has to be a serious in depth look at a game(AngryJoes certainly wasn’t) for it to be considered. It wasn’t as much of a review as it was just getting the game to be shown on a massive platform that people actually watch. If you want the in depth review wait for TotalBiscuit’s. Until then, this is primarily the stuff that will generate good PR.
