many 360 players?

this game looks great and im thinking of buying it for 360…im just wondering if many people still play it online?

i hate getting older games where the lobbys are empty!

I don’t know for 360, but I agree with Apoc, the computer game is much better, and the community still alive. :smiley:

consoles are peer to peer, not dedicated servers, so there’s no servers to be down

There’s still the master server who needs to be up so players can join each others.

Nah we still got servers. A friend and I play it from time to time as we’ve been caught up with Splinter Cell DA and Perfect Dark Zero (You heard right PDZ haters… it was 2.50!) but yeah 360 quake is alright. Just dont expect to find anyone except statpadders or myself and Fretless Arcade, or a noob playing with friendly fire on.

Last time I tried to play this game online, I wished it was off. I would have died a whooooole lot less :).

He just mistaken the on/off thing.

Also, you can interprete Friendly Fire Off as no one is your friend, so you can hurt then all… or that the “Fire is your friend”, so off make you hurt your mate.
