making a movie

under the noquarter mod we used the record command and got a demo file. how can we convert this file to an avi?
i cannot record it again as it shows a few things that are next to impossible to replicate.

Open the demo in no quarter and press “export to avi” or something like that…

use virtualdub or even fraps

In demo do /cl_avidemo 90,then its laggy,then get Virtualdub,open the images there,complie at 33.33FPS using XviD or other codecs,use same in Vegas or in AF,done.

go to Fraps website http://www.fraps.com/download.php
download fraps
pay for full version
read instructions
set the highest quality possible

Go to ET
in the main menu go to options
go to mods
click on noquarter
go to menu
click on playgame
click on Demos
click on the correct demo
play the demo by hitting ok or by double clicking the title of the demo

start recording fraps in highest quality

after the portion that you wanted to record stop the fraps recording.
stop the demo
exit et
retrieve the newly created fraps recording inside your fraps folder
