Hi guys had to register to see if you can help me, my system can play COD4 CS:S and other games at high graphics very smoothly. Since recently downloading Et I have major lag and fps issues my system has 8gb ram and should be running this at 100+ fps inatead it is unplayable can anybody help?

All I did was install the fresh updated game client which is the enemy territory LEGACY shortcut, i was using the original game from the website and it didnt seem to optimise to my PC, all is perfect now!
Like I say my computer is well capable of running the game so no need for full specs, thanks guys but all is sorted fps wise, unfortunately I am experiencing alot of lag spikes and connection interrupted every so often which is making the game unplayable any ideas?
I am using a wireless connection, I don’t experience these issues with newer pc games. Every 30-40 secs depending on activity in thr server my ping can go as high as 600 I see connection interrupted for 5-10 seconds making the game unplayable any more tips?
