Magical Medic Sef-Revive??

I was playing Fueldump on an ET Pro 3.01 server tonight. I had a mobile MG. I saw a firefight between an axis medic named RainH2o and a teamate. Rain H2o killed my teamate, then I opened up on him. He fell down, I got the “You killed RainH20” message. I ran up to him and put 3 pistol rounds into his head. The Guy sits up, stands, and starts shooting me while I continue to fire. No other medics in site, so nobody revived him. How is this possible? Is this a function of “Play Dead”? I didn’t know it was possible for a dead medic to self-revive. Is this some new function I missed, a bug, or a cheater?

He was an admin and revived himself.

If it was truely etpro, and cheats are off, then self revive and playdead should not be possible.

People have been known to make servers with the shrub qagame and etpro client files.

those admin functions in shrub really have no other use then to be abused by cheating admins

Why would you even include such an admin option in the 1st place?? All i hear about is cheating admins abusing admin stuff in shrub. Should maybe be a hint to remove them in the next update. What possible use could self revive for an admin be other than to cheat.

Depth Charge, that just strengthens my “to cheat” theory. It’s just utter stupidety including an option like that, it’s more or less an official cheat for shrub.

Self Revive = Drunk moment during the coding.

At the very least, a self revive should be penalised by an XP reset for that player.

It’s a bit of a daft inclusion imho

Edit: If you take the bad parts out of shrub’s admin system it is actually quite nice

Yes it is, has some faults but so does ETPro and them all. Wish shrub was still being updated.
