Mac problem - Black Screen

Hello, i just installed Wolf ET on my mac and when i click to run it it opens and I hear the sound that it makes when it opens buy my screen is black. I click my mouse and I here it go from the splash screen to the menu so I know its working just a screen problem here. I fixed this a long time ago but deleted it and forget how I fixed it. Any help appreciated.

Try this - it’s a little config file I made when I had problems with my macbook (not pro though), maybe it could help as well:

Mac Autoexec config file:

A lot of Mac users have a problem with their ET not running correctly (not to say not at all). When they run ET they’ll hear a buzzing sound and ET shuts off. This Autoexec file can help you solve that problem. Download it and save it into your ET main, run ET and normally it will work. (This is used for Apple MacBook)

Can’t learn much from that crash report (it’s very useful for modders, though) - but it could be you’re trying to join a server which is running a mod not supported for mac

try joining a jaymod or ETnam or ETPro server (clean one, not with any fancy clan add ons)

I tried the versions from the “barracks” … they are not the newest ones which are avaiable for mac.
Latest mac client is 2.60d AFAIK.

You can get it there:

Maybe you should first remove all traces of it, to get rid of faulty configs.

Then I ran the Disk Utility.app and had it repair permissions. Didn’t see anything really strange there though.

@Shagileo, if one tries to join etpro from mac, it shows some error in a msgbox, but it does not crash the game.
