I am a Mac user…I use PC’s because of my work…But have used Macs since 1982.
And So do my old work mates.
RTCW is on the Mac…as are a lot of other games Now…When can we
expect to see the MAc installer on your Downloads Site…?
I would really look forward to that …as would a few people I know.
Would I have to say please a real lot…or is it in the works.?

afaik, until John Carmack releases the Q3 code, it won’t happen, but he has said himself he wanted to release it by the end of 2004
“I intended to release the Q3 source under the GPL by the end of 2004, but we had another large technology licensing deal go through, and it would be poor form to make the source public a few months after a company paid hundreds of thousands of dollars for full rights to it. True, being public under the GPL isn’t the same as having a royalty free license without the need to disclose the source, but I’m pretty sure there would be some hard feelings.”
IIRC, Bani has someone lined up to do it, but they need the Engine source.
