lvl 20 play, does no one use those characters?

So whenever i play one of my lvl 20’s I never get a full team, doesn’t anyone play there lvl 20’s?

yeah I agree, it’s weird to make a new character and have so much action and then no action with your old (favorite) characters.

I use lvl 20 if I know that I will be playing in a full match, like last night!

yeah if you are playing an organized game… which wold be easy if there was a lobby with a lvl 20 playlist maybe? or I dunno just a lobby periiod that showed levels and gamertags and blah blah blah. lol. did I mention a lobby?

Lobby is one way. What Brink does is allow you to drop in and out without having to wait in a Lobby, which is great for someone who is just looking to get in quick. But I’d imagine Clan Support will act as more of a Lobby. And Clan Support is do out late summer according to the website.

Oh yeah drop in and out is cool and there’s no reason to get rid of it, but it would be nice to be able to “set up” a team from the get go and not get put on the other team or not be able to join period. that’s all I’m saying.

I really do think they may setup the Clan this way to differentiate it. Because it makes sense to have it setup in Freeplay the way they do currently to keep the playing-field level. Where as the very nature of Clan section is about “Organized Teams” facing off. You know? Brink really tries to design the game so that there is less Organized Teams smashing new players like in other team based objective modes in the public playlist. Do you know what I mean? I think this is also part of the decision since there is no RANKED playlists. Right?

I actually find I use my lvl 20 when i join a large group. Keeps my character useful in the roles we take. I just lvl up my others in my own time with campaign and freeplay.

But i reckon it will get less interesting once we hit its al about security’s point. Ten lvl 20s don’t leave much xp gain time when the lvl 24 DLC comes out.

What then?

(I realise i may get “play the game for fun” comments, but i love levelling or having in game goals to achieve)

I dont care about leveling. I care about gameplay.

The light class is the only thing that feels relatevily smooth and fast.
So basically i play lvl 20 nonstop.

You know the saying (A man without goals in life has no reason to live) well it’s kinda the same thing with online games. When you reach lvl20 you’re like awesome I have super abilities to own everyone but you no more get XP so you lose the extra fun from the rank 5 perks. What’s the point of being lvl20 if you have to start all over again right after? More playability/longevity? Bulls***

i have just one character ( obvious lv 20 ) and play all the time with it.
