“We were going to keep this little treasure chest to ourselves, but it appears the hand has been bitten. Say your prayers, Brink users. >:]”

Thoughts?

Thank God, maybe they will release the SDK for pc users and information on patches seeing as SD aren’t.:penguin:

(Krallis) #3

What the **** is wrong with them. What has Brink done to deserve this. The only issue I had with Brink turned out to be my fault because I hadnt updated my drivers.
All theyre doing now is screwing people over and its not funny. Not just Brink, but all the PSN users who just want to have fun with the service and they cant because of this selfish group of hackers.

(Krallis) #4

Em, judging by the say “say your prayers” bit, theyre going to totally **** over all the servers and ruin it for everyone and not give SD a chance to fix it.

(peteXnasty) #5

Cool bunch of overentitled kids thinking they’re hot **** trying to flex internet muscle about things that don’t matter

(Krallis) #6

If I was SD I’d shut down the ENTIRE online portion of the game for the time being. It would be a lot less hassle than fixing the damage this group of pretentious assholes would cause.

after pron release this friday, brink next ? unexpected

If they release the brink SDK instead of ****ing over the game then that would be better but still ****.
Think about it.
They dont get what they want so they **** over a game and damage the developers.
Its highly immature and also damaging to the industry, if it happens once it will probably happen again.

Seriously, i hope they havent stolen the Passwords Database, if so then im gonna give up…

i’ve already been done over by sony, and i dont fancy being done over by SD, i know its not their fault but damn :.

(Seiniyta) #12

The best thing to do is, if you’re using a password you use often to change it for now, maybe with a new e-mail adress as well if you use it all over the web

better safe then sorry.

(stealth6) #13

I’ll just try and keep this constructive:
You’re on the wrong forums, Bethesda control the servers.

Ah, my bad.
My point still stands, although…it depends on what they do to the game.

(its al bout security) #15

what is this lolz security??

(its al bout security) #16

EDIT: im not using a computar and these sound liek fat hackers am i rite??

(darthmob) #17

Serious question: what is it that people have with password databases? Any proper site uses one-way hashes and you can’t do anything with those.

(brbrbr) #18

point is: solely-password-based security is fail/fail anyway.

nobody actually know.
most frequent guess is thats feds/govt PsyOps undercover.
