but it made me extremely frustrated when I saw level 8 with MA42 Cobalt Fragment.
Level 8. Damn it.
And I’m sitting here as level 108, still got no proper cobalts.
This is so damn jealous…

Nah, saw some super low level, the FIRST TWO CASES HE EVER OPENED both had cobalts… he didnt even know wtf they were and he made a post on it… I had a second account (which i somehow lost) got a cobalt thunder at lvl 4 (so sad i lost da account :<)
well, i dont care anymore about cosmetics, they are nice to have but too hard to get,
and i think i liked the old system more, this is cool,
but somewhere around lvl 30 i was getting very frustrated, because i got my first cobalt on lvl 21 and then i meet people like “wow some blue card from case, is that good?”
but like i said i dont care anymore and you shouldn’t too, just tell yourself “why should i care about that?”
I am at the opposite end of this. Currently lvl 27, with 4 Cobalts (All Pretty Good). Got SM41 from a normal case when I was lvl 8
Somehow ALL 5 of my friends who just started Dirty Bomb last week got cobalts out of regular cases.
In… january or even earlier I saw a russian with all 3 considered best cobalts. hes was level 3.
I am pretty convinced that the system is breached and its been that for a long time.
That one time. Level 7. One of the M4 Stokers. In suspect skin. And i got a suspect rhino before the match. And i played rhino 8 mins out of 800 hours. I ate salt for a week
I have two Cobalts and I am only level 15. I also have one of those red cards from the suspect thing, so I line my cards up as red, silver, cobalt. 'Murica!!!
I got one from an elite case giveaway at around 120 hours.
Normal cases though, I’ve yet to get a gold!
Very early on, I got a crappy cobalt Bushwhacker. Can’t remember the exact loadout, but it had pineapple juggler. 500 hours later, I recycle a mediocre cobalt Phoenix to make a new one and get the exact same card out of it.
All in all I have 3 decent cobalts, Arty S72, Fletcher BL32, and Kira B72, all gen 1.
Just saw a lvl 8 with a good cobalt phoenix. It’s a beginner luck or SD secretly increase chances for new people so they will stay longer ?. Put your tin foil hat on boyssss.
I’ve had atleast 7 cobalts, but they were mostly garbage so I decided to trade them in to get 3 garbage cobalts fml
I still can’t play, so still lvl 1 but I got a cobalt as a log in present as well as 2 gold, a silver, bunch of bronze with half and half lead and iron in the last 2 weeks. Loadouts are easy-ish
lol ive got what 8 golds so far from base cases but then again i took 9 months from the game so maybe its a time thing for when you get the more rare cards to keep you addicted … so i think that makes up for lack of cobalt’s… or the special ones
My cousin, litteraly got a Cobalt Fragger, with the M4A1. ON THE 30TH CASE, AND HE’S LVL 3-6 I DON’T REMEMBER, I SWEAR I’M SO JEALOUS RIGHT NOW THAT I REMEMBERED THIS CRAP.

I know. that’s why I’m always good with my Silver Urban MA42.
But I gotta say not all of us, but MOST of us want at least single proper cobalt with blinging color we want (ex. Cobalt Fragment. NOT SHARD) for our main merc.
It’s just I want to be compensated somehow with highest rarity cards.(Or may be such as Master skins, etc. that can’t be gathered by RNG.)
If cobalts were ugly, I might have not wanted those.
I mean, sometimes… it’s just really annoying that DB’s inside is really fair, but outside of the game is huge pool of RNG…
