Logitech MX500, how to configure all buttons?

Sorry to bring this topic up, cuz I know it’s been ask before. I did a search, found the thread, unfortunately, the link the the planetwolfenstein.com forum ended up being broken (or maybe i’m just stupid)

anyways, wondering if there is an easier way to config the buttons. how I configed it was to turn all the alternate buttons (back, forward, up scroll, program button, etc.) into like Ins/Del/Backspace/Enter/etc. and configure it from there when I go in game.

So if there is an easier way to do it, then please inform me!

Personally, I have command map on mouse4 and Limbomenu on mouse5. The idea is to get instant access to the whereabouts of friends and foe.
Mouse5 is for those rare occasions when Im dead (and have to look at limbo to access the map).

Other than that (access to map overview) I havent found any usefull things to put in hotkeys on the mouse. Not yet atleast.

Thanks for the link. It made Logitech sell yet another one of MX500 today :wink: Haven’t found anything more useful than command map to map either though… found that one quite useful, but the rest? Any tips?

It’s still better than the one I used to play with, so I don’t mind if I don’t find a useful mapping for all the keys :slight_smile:
