  1. No checkpoints within missions in Solo mode: It’s very frustrating to complete 2 of your 3 objectives, fail at the third and have to redo the first 2 to get to the third again. If feasible, I’d suggest in a multi-objective mission you restart at the beginning of the objective failed rather than the beginning of the mission.
  2. AI doesn’t always play objectively: Your AI teammates should be protecting you when you’re trying to hack, etc.
  3. More content for Multi-player (I think this might be helped with the forthcoming DLC.)

  1. Load up Lobby - So you could meet up with your friends as a team, and go play as a team.

  2. SDK - I wanna make my own face paint ! and maybe a new face while I’m at it.

  3. A few glitches that will probably get patched.

1- Fix the bugs

2- I tought no 1 shot killing a medium, but i get heashoted a lot as medium.

3-Allow changing between your 10 caracthers in comand posts

3- Increase HP because now that peole are getting better and aim to the head wih engeneer buffs you can die/kill faster then you do in other military shooters.

4- Playng on pubs its like you win all games or lose all games, because the teams are always the same

5- When people leave the server it gets filled with bots instead of a 4 vs 4 wich is a decent number we get 8 humands miixed with 8 bots wich sux, and if your the only human in your team = gg you already lost.

6-Light sub machine guns pwn to much, people tend to just use the same 2 guns 24/7

7-Relesae a SDK to keep the community

I’m on 360, so here’s mine:

  1. Lag. Most important issue. Get rid of lag.

  2. Party system. Really hard to get a team together.

  3. Unbalanced: Defense is too strong for competitive gameplay.

Love the game though.

4-HORRIBLE Textures where you can sometimes dont tell if they are worse then HL1 or a little little better.
These textures in a 2011 game?Terrible terrible terrible.

Hm, are you sure you arent playng with texture quality low ?, look at black ops in some textures you can see big pixels those are bad textures for me :stuck_out_tongue:

  1. The Bot disparity - Team-mate bots are thick as planks and can’t shoot, Enemy bots are bright (This is excellent, BTW) but shoot WAAAAAY TOO WELL. Like Ninja/Terminators on ‘roids, let’s face it…"3 rds in the head, on a moving target, whilst under fire, from across the freakin’ map, really??"

They need to be adjusted to meet in the middle somewhere. This is important, as if SD just mimics the current enemy AI, our team-mates will be TOO good at everything and leave us nothing to do. Their taking the easy fix would be a disaster.

  1. More maps and gametypes, and soon. Much as I love it, Brink is becoming a bit…samey.
    We need CTF, Take-and-hold and other team objective based types…and lots and lots of maps. I don’t care if they’re symetrical, neutral or relatively plain, personally.

  2. An end to lag and a lobby system, which must include some way of ensuring that you can play against other humans. Even the Big Teams setting appears to produce me and 7 bots…what’s up with that?

Brink can be awesome, if they heed what we’re saying and act fast. Here’s hoping!:smiley:

Crashes/performance: ATI cards get **** FPS and nVidia drivers keep crashing. And even with 100 FPS it feels like its 30 FPS. Fix the sound crashes and stuff too.

Balance: SMGs are OP as hell compared to anything else. The maps are very unbalanced allowing the defenders to even spawn camp the attackers on some maps. Bad spawns and map layout. Heavy body type is pretty much useless.

Stats: I’d like to see a breakdown of each stat on the stat screen. As said before, a different column for objective, kills, buffs etc… Get the stat site up and running so we can get more detailed info and stuff.

Thinking SMART: The maps should take more advantage of the SMART system which will give lighter body types access to more areas, shortcuts and flanking paths. Right now the only difference is pretty much runspeed and HP, everyone can get everywhere, which is bad design.

SDK: If they want this game to live longer then a year or two they HAVE to release a SDK!

I know this was top 3, but I just had to add more because the 2 first ones are things that HAVE to be fixed while the other ones are more feedback focuesed on what can be improved, not whats wrong with the game.

  1. Lag - this is the be all end all - modes wont matter, lobbies wont matter, nothing will if the gameplay is not smooth with hidden lag spikes ruining countless experiences (console version)

  2. Modes - Nothing to separate the single player experience from the multiplayer experience, needs different type of map mission maybe innovate and create something completely different that no one has seen before for a gaming mode.

  3. lobby it’s just difficult trying to get everyone to play together it shouldn’t be a mission or work to make this happen.

Im just gonna list a bunch of things…

1)Pressing F for everything is for people with IQ 50. Give us more options, bindings, etc.
2)Slow paced action speed (compared to W:ET unless you are skinny body type)
3)The pick a class circle thing needs to be changed so that keys select it
4)The guns do really weird damage.
5)Something about the hitboxes (or whatever you call it) seems weird. Cant describe it.
6)Better lobby system
7)Place to chat after game
8)Vsays
9)Sound issue
10)I want stats. Not necessarily in game or a stats tracker for all games. But something like W:ET had where it showed your stats after each game. Now before someone tells me play Cod… I hate Cod.
Kd for example wont change much when it comes to teamwork. It wasnt a problem in W:ET (the best team based game ive played) and it wouldnt be a problem here.
11)Not enough XP for kills. Kills are more important then some guy wondering off and collecting enemy uniforms. Its an FPS game damn it.

In general I think #1, #8, #9, and #10 are my main issues.

Top 3 ?

  1. The all-in-one magic “do everything for me cos I’m stupid” F key: I want separate keys for buff / class action (revive etc.) / use CP (which I suggested in the PC feedback thread could be the objective wheel key as you’re never going to use the objective wheel and CP at the same time). This is close to game-breaking for me.

  2. Crosshairs: I hate the white circle crosshair because I find it hard to see some of the time (being whiite and things like team-mate names, revive icons etc. being white as well) and the big circle seems a bit brighter than the white dot at the centre. I want a red dot crosshair like I use in every other shooter I’ve ever played.

  3. Competition options: first person spectate, demo recording, speclock, timeout etc.

And if I can add a 4th …

  1. Server browser: It’s pants, we know SD can do better, much better (ET:QW) so there’s no excuse for the server browser in the state it’s in.

  1. make player + objective interaction more fluid, more responsive, faster. NO MORE HOLD DOWN BUTTONS PLZ!

a player ability should work like this: aim at player (position on the ground for turrent or mine), press button, buff/turret/mine/bomb takes X seconds to apply.

dont fixate the player at objectives/command posts/positions when repairing/interacting/bomb planting/turret setting/mine placing. no more autofocusing/autorunning. it sucks, it is buggy, it does things i dont want.

when you hold a button down, you miss the focus on “wasd” and movement becomes a pain. same with self buffing.

  1. performance+bug fixes. this includes more options and possibility to deactivate postprocessing completely, even if the game looks dated. FPS>graphic. fix sound bugs, too, plz.

  2. balancing.
