i have to agree here. martyrdom isn’t that bad at all. Sure, it’s annoying but in the end it’s 90% of the time escapable.

to answer your question that no one else will answer, martyrdom isn’t a pure power ability - the cost is that you give up the ability to be ressed when you use it. Frequently you will grenade and not even hit anyone, and that is effectively a tap out when you might have been ressed in the meantime. So no, nader would not be underpowered without it but it doesn’t just add to her power either.

Martydom is forgiveable. Phantom is not.

Well he is here to stay, I don’t think the devs have any plans of removing him anytime soon, if at all.

Soo, as the original poster… After putting in maybe 30 more hours, I think most of my complaints were l2p issues. while both things can be annoying, and frustrating at times, once i started accepting blame with my own play ive worked it out.

probably does not hurt that nader is now off rotation :slight_smile: And while phantom is probably still a lil overpowered, after doing some research, i wonder if phantoms are mad that they only have 3 of 9 loadouts that arent total garbage.

I dont think its think its necessarily phantom thats OP, i think it might just be the katana or maybe specifically the katana with extra damage loadout

It’s kinda nice to see an OP revisit this sort of thread and comment on how they feel after X hours more gameplay! You keep learning and improving, it’s all in good fun. It took me longer than I care to admit during closed beta to realise about long jumps and knife heavy attacks.

Without chopper augment, katana is not op. It one-shots mercs with 90hp or below and stiletto used to do that as well.
