Linux-Gamers 0.9 live DVD

Now downloading and will definately try it out and yeah, it’s kinda very nice to see that someone is trying to popularize good freeware games and in a certain way linux \o/

Was reading DistroWatch and noticed (at the first glance) good news - linuX-gamers Live DVD 0.9.1 is out, but then reading changelog, I’ve noticed that ET and TC:E are removed due to licensing issues.

Could anyone enlighten me and tell me WHAT / WHICH exactly is the issue why to remove free game from free distro? :o

Without ET this distro is so useless now, you know

Without ET this distro is so useless now, you know

Just cause a game is free, doesn’t mean you can re-distribute it however you want. You are bound to certain rules, which are explained in the license (EULA). For ET, this probably says that it may only be distributed in the original form (the installer-file). Not something you can click and play.
