I don’t mind the RNG on the usual cases, since I know my luck and won’t really bother with getting any expectations for anything above lead really.
But CW cases are limited AND based off RNG. For example, let’s say I’m considered a hardcore player playing this game for about 6-10 hours a day and I get 0 of these limited skins, what are the chances for a casual player who plays 2-3 hours max every other day, for example.
I feel like the case drops from this weekend could have been applied to the entire month of the CW event without harming things too much, but they tried to push the whole super limited/rare crap by making them have insanely low drop rates from regular cases and elite cases. I feel like it would’ve been better all around if the unique cases dropped all month (or regular cases had an appropriately higher chance of dropping), plus allow CW elite cases to be purchased, instead of forcing them into an expensive bundle where you get a bunch of shit silvers along with it.
I like it as it is. You get some by luck, which keeps them unique and quite rare.
Can’t wait for Christmas and some nice snow skins with ski googles and wooly hats.
Interesting option. Middle ground between (sometimes unfair) RNG and “everyone will get some just because they’re a human being” (which isn’t really solid choice for free-to-play game).
Invest as in time. If you grind hard and get none, but someone who just plays a couple of games and gets it. Feels rather unfair, doesn’t it?
This event ruined me! I have no chance of getting it anymore 
So either the amount of games (by which I would get around 100 CW cases) or not doing events like this at all!

I always support to include a special mission, as for example, play 200 games during the CW month to receive a CW case.
So far I played about 47 matches during the last three days and opened 150+ regular cases and I still haven’t got a CW loadout nor any cobalt.
This event was garbage, it’s ridicolous seeing a level 2 with a CW loadout while i have none. And it’s not i’ve grinded the whole fuc*ing weekend to get some.
Yeah right and how people that are left empty handed should feel?
Playing a game should feel fun and rewarding in my opinion, this event(the CW cases part) ruined it for me.
1 and 2 is fine. I have played at least 10 hours for the past 2 days and got nothing. This is exhausted.
Sure they’re just cosmetics and they don’t change anything about gameplay, but I’m getting furious of those new players with the best loadouts there are IN CW (i.e. Sparks 383,Fletcher A31,Nader SM41 etc.) that will do little to no help regarding the gameplay and complain the most about my high level, about the balance,about this merc,that weapon,those tactics and just ALL the naughty words there are.
I gotta say, I honestly lost something this weekend because this huge flush of people that joined this game just to complain and then leave RUINED it for me!
Maybe I was a bit mad in this post, but at least RNGesus hates my guts.
