Can someone please tell me what the command is that turns off the glare around lights?

Hmm, if you mean corona’s:
Enter the “main”-menu.
Choose “options”.
Choose “view”.
Change the value for “corona distance” to “off”.

It’s either:- seta cg_coronafardist “0” or:- seta r_flares “0” I think (possibly the latter).

Switch of r_dynamiclight and r_fastsky to 1 too.
