Level 7 is a little too high to unlock party matchmaking + solo matchmaking IMO

Just go to the server brower and join the same server, Then dont click return to menu button after game ends, and it will put you back into the lobby
except for the part that 1.) it keeps shuffling you up, 2.) changing teams is iffy at best 3.) if someone crashes or bugs out it is very difficult to get back in/impossible

IDK about you guys but i love the way the match making is right now. I can usually top score pubs easily but when I hopped in matches with friends from Evac TS I got absolutely destroyed. None of us won a single match. Definitive proof that there is a skill curve in this game and it is high.

I doubt we would be able too but if we could keep the skill level in comp the way it is now it will be awesome. IMO competitive 5v5 is the way DB should be played. Casual matches allow you to build bad habits and give too much room for mistakes.

It took 9 hours to get to level 7 for me. That’s a small amount of time - and giving someone who hasn’t played the game before the ability to play competitive after 9 hours will drop the skill level.

they could always do ‘casual 5v5mm’ and ‘comp 5v5 mm’
Or they could just allow you to party up at rank 5, or straight away, and then allow matchmaking at 6 or 7.
Partying up is only for matchmaking

This. I don’t get why I can’t be with my friends from the start. Imagine, you have just begun DB and you have all your friends who have a blast in a friend only game, you want to join in but : too bad ! You’re only level 1 and you can’t join them. You have to level up all the way from level 1 to level 7. Which is really silly in my opinion.

It’s perfectly understandable for competitive matchmaking, were you need to know more or less how to play. But for a friends vs friends only matchmaking, this is just wrong on all points.
If this was allowed you’d end up with the situation in CoD where clans party up with each other in pub lobbies and stomp the crap out of unorganized less-skilled pubbers. The way it is is fine. It gives some degree of balancing while still allowing you to change teams if there was a situation where doing so wouldn’t unbalance the match to a severe degree (ie. if the other team was down a player)
