At first, I told myself not to spend any money on this game because I wasn’t sure if I would like it but now that I’m pretty ‘‘addicted’’ to it, I’ve bought the starter pack which I don’t regret at all and I bought Nader. I can see myself spending more money on this game in the future though…
Let's talk about monetization: How many of you spent money on Dirty Bomb?
I bought a merc pack because I wanted to support the game, but also get some value for money. I feel the things you can buy in this game arent really worth it when you can earn the credits reasonably easily. I do like how it isnt pay to win, but with the mission system you can buy all the mercs pretty easily once you get smart.
I currently have all except 4 mercs (that Im in no hurry to get) and I have 150k credits saved up incase of a miraculous double merc release.
I would spend about 100 or so on cases but there is nothing unique about them so i dont bother. Maybe if they actually made cases worthwhile i would spend some money.

Where do I find this measure? I want to see my spendings too.
EDIT: Found it. - a somewhat measly 21.86 USD. - Apparently you can find it by going into your badges, select the one for Dirty Bomb and then “How to get more card drops.”
After years of playing for free, I’ve been eager to drop some money to show some (financial) support. I’ve bought a couple of credit boosters and four mercs, for a total of 63.93. I have all the mercs, all loadouts, bronze or better, and enough credits to buy the rest of the currently planned mercs, yet still I aim for spending a little more. (No rush, though!) Around €100 total, I think is fair, for what will be my go-to fps for the next decade.
So yep, in the long term that pretty much makes me THAT guy; the cheapskate low-life with a lot of excuses and little money!
Sorry SD, hope some other peeps chime in with the cha-ching down the road.
I’ve bought the starter pack, a few mercs and a booster. And pretty much all of it was just to throw some money at the devs. I absolutely refuse to buy Elite Cases as they are incredibly overpriced with way too much RNG involved. I have no issues parting with money, especially for a game I like, but I need more control and better odd if I’m going to be asked to pay those kind of prices.
I guess it’s still very easy to forget about the fact, that this game is barely out of closed beta. Although I’ve never played Brink I’ve seen some videos of it recently, and boy, they had tons of customisation in that game. When DB will get to this stage I will happily throw my money at this game, but at the moment theres probably just not enough content to sell, for having a decent business modell. I really hope the customization will not only be about cosmetics, but also about gameplay.
I’m a family man, so I spend money on other things. My daughter does spend my money on games though, but not on Dirty Bomb.
I wonder how many of the people spending lots of money in DB spend their own money or their parents’ money. Not that any of these are wrong, just curious.
when the cheaters are sorted ill spend all kinds of money on this game. until then 0.
