Let's be honest, a heavy with a Kevlar vest and a gatling should be the most feared..

How about switching characters at the in between match screen.

Or, if they don’t do that they should give us a sense of loyalty. Let us PICK the faction we want to play for. MAG did this well, we got to pick the faction, and we always felt at home in it. We felt loyalty to our cause, and made it fun. Brink messed up right there. They should have made us pick the faction and stick with it- Even in multiplayer for the most part.

(RabidAnubis) #62

Is it?

I say keep the patch they have (IT REMOVED ALL LAG) and then keep changing between the two.

The weapon tweaks have definitely helped heavies. I still need some more play time with them to decide if heavies need more.

One of the problems I notice is that one heavy isn’t a huge threat. However, two heavies working in unison are great. Last night I played a match where I and another player both had heavies with Gotlungs. Once the attacking team got Nechayev to the conduit, there was just nothing they could do. Every attack was met with a wall of bullets that shredded the enemy team. All we really had to do was stay out of the sniper’s line of sight.

That brings me to another point: heavies do best as soldiers. Since I usually can’t rely on my team to buff correctly, I have make sure my heavy doesn’t run out of ammo for his main weapon. Once a heavy can’t shoot his main weapon, he’s just a slower medium.

Lolz. Agrees with the aboves on heavy tactics.

1 heavy soldier with a eznade is a HUGE threat :D.

(RabidAnubis) #66

Oh. Gonna test that.

(Hot-Wire) #67

Dude if you ain’t using the eznade as a heavy, something must be wrong with you. This gun is the pinnacle of heavy perfection.

I’ve trapped entire teams in their spawn point alone with this gun.

(RabidAnubis) #68

Dude, I love the Chinzor though. I make love with it every night!

By killing.

Dude the EZnade uses chinzors as bullets.

(RabidAnubis) #70

I love you.

The EZ-Nade is badass though. I try not to use it, because it makes Seacliffer angry. You won’t like Seacliffer when he’s angry.

(TruGamer97) #72

Id rather lean towards chinzor as a primary and the lobster as a secondary

(RabidAnubis) #73

Seacliffer?

By the way, can I add you?

Seacliffer is lulzy when he is angry.

I wonder if he still remembers all those times he tried to curb stomp me while I’m down and I just shotgun off his testicles.

You would think after the 1st or (give him the benefit of the doubt) 2nd time he would say… oh wait Hot-Wire has a shotgun as his secondary and fires indiscriminately with his downfire… but nooo… I guess his balls feel lucky.

(AmishWarMachine) #75
Seacliffer?
He’s O.G. EZ. Hell on wheels with an EZ-Nade.
By the way, can I add you?
Feel free, always looking for more people to play Brink with regularly.

(RabidAnubis) #76

Yay!

And how are you Amish?

(AmishWarMachine) #77

It’s a lifestyle choice.

(Hot-Wire) #78

Now for you chinzor lovers, what do you prefer? default ammo, or extended box?

I use default, since I hardly use up all my rounds on one sitting anyways… so I have a quicker reload to fall back onto.

(TruGamer97) #79

Default ammo I see no point in a extended box on a heavy gun it lowers the equip speed and reload speed especially if its only 50 bullets add to the clip

(RabidAnubis) #80

Extended!

150 rounds of doom!

Muhahahahahhhahahhahahahahahahaaha
