Hi, I just reinstalled ET, but for some reason it keeps launching with some mod enabled. I checked the mod menu and it appears that there is no vanilla version of the game? Could someone please help me to fix my client?

If you did only reinstall, you need to uninstall and delete it, the custom files are not being uninstalled.
Start your game,
Open console,
Type:
fs
Then press tabulator.
It will list some variables, check where those pathes are going, and clean it up.
Other way, install et into C:\wolfet\ that should prevent windows from doing crazy stuff.

What you mean by “mods”?
The change of UI menu in the ET main menu (right after start of et.exe, first screen) is from .pk3 files in your etmain folder. You get these files on pretty much every server nowadays. You need to find them and delete them. But as i said, pretty much every server has them, so on next connect, you get another one.
