I like that idea. It’s annoying in other games when your trying to heal people and they keep running away. Then they die, and because i blindly followed them to help them I’m now in the midst of a gigantic firefight and subsequently die. :eek:

“toon” is an RPG term? I must see a citation of this good sir. But I will see about trying to thesaurus that term. Would, perhaps, “char” or “avatar” be sufficient?

I like the surfing thing. It could be fun.

And I remember reading somewhere that if you want to let go, you can. You don’t have to follow guy waiting for the action to finish. If you release the buff button, you "let go "and cancel the buff.

Brink is supposed to let you do things on your own if you want. I read somewhere that if you manaully do the moves instead of letting SMART do them, you will be at an advantage. You probably do them slightly faster, so you would be done sooner, and you would be ready to shoot faster.

Apparently the SMART button does next to nothing compared to manual. That’s what I’ve been told. Seems believable and favorable.

I didn’t know that “toon” was a RPG term that wasn’t interchangeable with other genres (I need a citation on that good sir :tongue: ). I’ve just always used the term instead of typing out character or avatar or w/e. I can understand that you are anal about it though. Were you/are you heavy into RPGs as well as FPS?

I guess I just use the term “toon” like someone would use the term “kid” or “cat” or “guy” to denote anyone be it a female or someone my elder.

Either way, I don’t think you are “not making friends” XD I think you’re a cool kid <-- :smiley:

And with VOIP not there for the first few levels you can’t tell people “Yo wait up im gonna heal you” or buff weapon etc. And im not sure if you can do something to indicate to a player you want to buff their health/weapon/ammo etc. The surfing thing is good.
