Yea, I think aside from the 1 other thread on this page that was also told that this info has already been posted I don’t see any others for the [Get SMART: General Gameplay] release. I must say its interesting and clears up a few things for me, like how mediums can’t wall hop =(
cool vid, yet again teasing me while the game is still a week + 5 days away
I think this gameplay answered quite a few questions peolpe have had. I watched that video twice now and I cannot see any rim lighting anymore. And some of the enemies were a fair distance away. But maybe thats just my rubbish observation.
Well by golly!! Actual confirmed light footage!
Quite possible that this video was set up before rimlighting was added, or on an older build after it was added.
“when you hold buff button you automatically run to your teammate”
what the hell…
At least we now have definitive light sprint speed. Seemed ok to me. Pretty fast.

That was confirmed a long time ago.

That is the surfing that Rahdo mentioned…
It may be an option on consoles too. We don’t know. Let’s avoid further discussion of that though, toka will show up in here and make a big scene.
I’ve been thinking that I would mainly play as a medium build, but after this video I think I’m going to be light for the most part
Also this shows the health regen that was noticed on the last video. It regens a little sooner than I’d have liked, but still not game breakingly fast. As was seen in the video it’s still slow enough that you can get your ass handed to you. And the light vs the medium/heavy was interesting… Got flattened even after a buff!
I think this can also be used by heavies to get to higher ground they normally couldn’t climb to on their own. Kinda like a helping hand up as it were.
At least it’s not overly exploitable. You can only “surf” when you have a supply pip available, so you can’t just keep “riding a light’s coat tails”…
I was thinking the same, but I don’t think I favor a lower health pool despite the fact that I could probably get out of a firefight easily as a light by running off in some random direction. But then again, you get 10 toon slots. So I’m sure I’ll make a light and a heavy at least 2 or 3 different slots.
But I agree, it was nice to see the run speed and SMART fluidity of a light for a change. vid is still a tease >.>
