Mc. Let’s take this as real life, just to argue that what you’re saying WOULD give the PLAYER a better chance at surviving. If in REAL LIFE you were blinded by a military grade flashbang, you have a chance of never seeing again if you’re looking dead at it. Not to mention the confusion, despair, and anguish that would kick in.

NOW, in game you’re disoriented when you’re blinded, and disoriented even when you’re not. If you were healed by Phoenix, that would instantly clear any blindness or left over stuff. HOWEVER, you would be EVEN MORE disoriented because of the constant change in vision. Phoenix healing you would be detrimental to your vision, and instantly cause more confusion.

@Xenithos @Mc1412013 Great idea! Since Thunder is so inconsistent, we need to give​the concs a buff. Make the flash directly tamper with the players’ gamma settings to blind them in real life. If they try to sue SD, just tell them to git gud.

Also, what did Aimee do to Proxy? I couldn’t tell from the comics. Did she gouge her eye out? Or was it just a mean punch to the optical ball? Why didn’t Aimee kill Proxy outright?

Screw it, let’s make DB as immersive as possible.

Should anyone step onto a moliied area, the game will spam the CPU, with junk data, and burn the players’ PC.

If you get downed or killed, DB will turn off your monitor until you get revived or respawn.

Since I don’t see the mercs wearing any proper earplugs for firefights, let’s make every gun shoot at >2.000 desibles (or whatever the sound unit is, I forgot).

Exposure to 100 decibels for more than 15 minutes can cause hearing loss
thats why modern army use earmuffs

Also, I think literally turning up Gamma for immersiveness would be cool… But they already made it a gray screen instead of white. I never minded it myself, but… meh. :wink: Just… don’t blind people for real. :confused:

I just knocked down my gamma to 0 8 and maxed out on all lighting effects. Dirty Bomb looks like some kind of messed up product between Dark Souls and Resident Evil. Shame it eats up my laptop faster than the five folders of Chinese virus it contracted.

In fact, I’m planning to have the whole DB roster as a family in my next Sims playthrough.

I just did that the other day, but put brightness at .7 because my monitor is so freaking bright it’s insane. (Yes, monitor brightness is at 0. :/) The changing colors really remind me of Autumn and the vibrancy and weird moodiness everything has is actually kinda amazing.

Also, for some weird reason I could aim with Sparks’ revivr. No idea if that’s connected or not.

@Xenithos What monitor do you have? I use a laptop, and while it has decent specs, the monitor has severe backlight issues, and I feel like it has impacted my aim

Silly Idea: Allow spectators to play a sort of Star Fox minigames whenever a Skyhaggis, Chinese Artist, or a Laser Bulma uses their abilities.

I grew up on the old CRTs and sometimes I still think pictures came out better in those and plasma after they heated up than this bad boy. Probably just me mis-remembering the “good old days.” I know what I’ve got is better, but meh.

How do your virus scanners not see the others as threats? Also, Spybot hasn’t been updated in forever if memory is serving me right.

The only one you really need @AlbinMatt is SuperAntiSpyware. And then a good network firewall like DansGuardian or something else.
I get wife-proofing because I’ve seen some really dumb facebook users… but jeez la wheez. It’s still not wife-proof is it? :DD

Malware bytes and spybot are malware scanners so they dont conflickt with av software
Yes Spybot still gets updates and they still update there website. Last database update was last week. Per there website.i use there antibeacon telementry blocker too.

Zonealarm is just active as a firewall. Ive used them since the start and its set maximum. I like to monitor what gets changed and block anything suspect. Zone alarm works great during installs. Lets me block things during update like bloat and crap ware buried in installs. No ask.com or scamware on my pc.

And glasswire lets me monitor my network usage and logs ip adresses each app uses and how mutch bandwidth each app is using.

And i also run microsoft emet which remimds me to check if ever installled it.

Oh and i 2 step login anything i can steam,google as i already had my ea(which is on 2 step now also) act hacked and luckily got it back only to have some one try rehacking it seconds later. Luckily it sent me a verify password change email first. Changed email and login credentials real quick.

Also you can have multiple av software on a pc. But only one cam be realtime protection the others must be set as manual scanning only. Ive done it before but i found that i didnt need it as i dont download new stuff with out googling the hell out of it first and or a respectable legit tech youtuber reviewed it( only 2 or three i watch fall into trust catagory)
And my wife knows to ask me first and avast blocks any ap it doesnt like til its sent to them to be checked out. Already blocked xyfurions hud app for an hr or 2 till they or it revied it.

There is no over kill in cyber security. Yes i still can get hacked but im gonna go down fighting first.

I want to build. Pfsense router and set it up for max overkill but it would be too mutch of a headache and by headache i mean my wife.
