Know any good servers for custom maps?

I have liked some of the new maps, and I would like to know where can I play them, preferrably MAX LIVES ON.

There’s a couple, although i cannot remember the full names right now - not a great help! One is called something like {187 custom map which last night was cycling Carnage2, Desert Fortress [strange one this!], Beach, and probably more.

I’m still gaggin for a game on Flak Cannon but didn’t stay long enough on 187 to see if it cycled through to it.

just do a search for one of the new maps, and you’ll see the server there.

Server I set up about month ago to test out the new maps and is max lives format. Problem with the server right now is that is one of the few I have that is not getting much play. We need more people to hop onto the server to attract some crowds. Most people seem to still be interested in the original six maps.

Hi Jahuu,

As DrGav said, }187{ET Custom Maps - Hosted is one worth trying (212.13.197.140:27960). Max lives is not set on, but there are usually enough players on it to make for a half decent game. It’s currently cycling Rhine 2, Carnage2, Beach and Desert Fortress. All quite good fun IMO. Until 2 days ago it also had Password and Flak Cannon on but they seem to have been taken off now.

DrGav - I had a couple of goes on Flak Cannon. IMO it’s a nice looking map and I enjoyed playing on it. Shame they’ve taken it off the rotation - hope they put it back soon.
