Keep getting VALID CDKEY IS NOT REACHING GUIDAUTH SERVER

Hello!

I run a dedicated server on T1. Its the original release version of the game, with no mods.

Everynow and then people get VALID CDKEY IS NOT REACHING GUIDAUTH SERVER
and can not connect to the server.

I tried a few other servers and joined fine, its just when I connect to my own server.

The server is behind a NAT router with ports 27950-27970 forwarded.

Is there some way to prevent this?

normally you just delete your etkey file from the etmain folder and reconnect

I get that occasionally too (playing on pub servers) and either reconnect or delete the etkey file.

the OP problem seems to be with it being centered on a server though, not just his client

assuming the firewall isnt doing anything to annoy it, this is a strange one :???:

I’ve found that as a client, this happens on specific servers at a given time. E.g., I’ll get the error on one server, but be able to connect to others. If I go back to the first, I’ll still get the error, until I delete my etkey, or wait for a long time.

No idea what all this means :confused:
