Are nexon actually contributing anything to the game right now? The Alpha was so much better than the beta before nexon started getting involved… and when I say getting involved I mean throwing up god awful forums, releasing a really ****ty buggy launcher and responding sometimes on their forum with generic responses.

Just Curios to hear what is actually going on? I saw the topic about keeping everyone in the loop a bit more. Just looks like things are going from bad to worse within the BETA.

On a side note, is anyone from the alpha actually bothering to play? I almost updated today but decided against it as reading patch notes nothing really grabs me yet.

the irony is dripping all over this reply. feel free to look at the threads ive started here, and contributions to ideas. i understand that you’re mad that you cant scrim a game that nobody is playing so that you might win a buzzard, but give it time.

shaftzor: I read Potty’s comment and immediately understood that he meant the game as whole (the community, the level of activity, the feedback, the communication etc.) as opposed to specific aspects of the game-play itself. I can’t imagine any native English speaker wouldn’t have done. Not wishing to defend anyone per se but you appear to be picking an argument for the sake of it.

i took it as all of the above, but im not going to defend nexon. we know how bad they are/have been, but i think the negativity needs to be toned down, especially when saying verbatim “Just looks like things are going from bad to worse within the BETA.” if anything, its gotten much better. the project plan has a clear direction, and the updates have been coming more frequently with changes that we’ve been wanting. i see no justification for the hate at all. if you want to rag on nexon, make a thread and we’ll join you in it, though nothing will be said that hasnt been 100 times

Ironical … because it seems to me that you have to be cornered by a few guys here to actually say something nice about the game. Most of your posts are really pessimist. You would be the first one to pick on Nexon hard, just sayin’

Agreed, Potty’s post was clear, even for a non-native English speaker like me …

From a more general perspective, Badman said Nexon hired new people to be assigned exclusively on XT. I’d like to see how this goes before claiming they should stop the partnership. I was also suprised that SD would’t publish the game themselves, they did it with Rad Soldier, why not with XT ? And though Nexon has a bad rep that may harm XT, maybe they are looking for a way out of this situation by doing it right with SD.

All this is hypothetical for sure, all I’m saying is let them finish to build the bridge before you burn it …
