I have certain requirements before I’ll join a clan. Does your clan meet my criteria?

  1. Does your clan have a real history?. I won’t join a clan with a falsified history. My last clan claimed to be the decendants of the ancient Germanic Kings, but it turns out they were just jerks.

  2. Do you know what to do “Throught the chaos of battle?”

  3. All members must have completed a 4-year program at an accredited Challage.

  4. Recruitment must be done by spamming ET related message boards.

  5. No member shall, at any time, get the hint when their previous recruitment messages are deleted.

  6. CHALLAGE!

  7. All members must write a three (3) page essay on why people who pretend to be Germanic Kings are Jerks. Wordlplay such as Ger-Kings is okay as long as you don’t get dirty.

  8. There must be a confusing and contradictory Tips and Tricks section describing members of your clan running around panicking during battle. Maybe a line like “Throughout the missions you will find soldiers panicking and getting killed.” could be used to really inspire courage in your fellow clan-mates.

  9. All members must be able to recognize when a list skips the number 9 and goes directly to 10.

  10. I require a beautiful challage of pictures of flowers and supermodels cut and pasted onto a big piece of cardboard so I have something for show and tell.

If you can meet these requirements (and my 500 dollar consultation fee) I will be happy to join up.

First of all, yes the clans name has a history. If you have ever seen Band of Brothers (the TV series), you would have reconized the name. Also in battle the clan works as a team and will cover eachother when they reload etc. The clan works more like the real army, in groups. You will rarly be allown, meaning you will almost have a clan member fighting beside you. I hope you will deside to join.

Wow! What a history! Did you get to meet David “Ross” Schwimmer or Colin “Tom Jr.” Hanks?

Although I mean technically Band Of Brothers isn’t a real history. It’s a TV show. I’m not sure I want to be involved with a clan based off of a miniseries.

Although a photocopy of Ron “Office Space” Livingston’s autograph could, shall we say, grease the wheels. Just sayin’ is all.

Wow you guys at EC really aren’t following the point here. The problem is that you are posting a recruitment thread in the wrong forums. Did you see a “Clan Recruitment” area here somewhere? Did you see any other threads about other clans or their recruitment needs?

This is a forum for discussions about Splash Damage and their amazing games.

Please take your recruitment advertisements elsewhere.

i genuinely want many people to join the EC clan the target is for clan members to work as a team, by doing this it makes the game 100 time more effective and realistic.

so join a great, teambased clan that you wont argue in and will be able to play mostly everyday

Also “Easy Company” the unit the (band of brothers follows) has a really history. Check on google if you want to find out about them.

Oh, I see. You guys are a World of Warcaft guild. I’m not really sure that could be considered a “real history.” World of Warcraft is a fictional reality, after all.

I mean sure, it’s cool you guys were in Band of Brothers and all, that was a great miniseries, but I don’t know that I can join a clan that’s created by some guy who co-starred with David Schwimmer and really loves World of Warcraft. It just feels…I dunno. Wrong to me.

I’m sure you guys did all kinds of great teamwork when you were raiding the evil orc city of Orcikstahn or, uh, using your flaming sword of +2 terrificness to banish the evil zombie thing (zombies are always cool, after all), but I don’t see how that really translates into an Enemy Territory type game.
