Hey guys, wondering if anyone else has found a way to give xp with JayMod. We just added stopwatch with custom maps, and the first attempt, everyone lost xp. It’s not THAT big of a deal, like i said to them, XP is only XP, but some noobs would like to have theirs back.

I might be able to help, but I don’t understand the problem. you want to literlally give people XP?
Or you converted from something esle to jaymod and everybody lost their XP?
or the XP save system isn’t working?

I should have been more specific. Like in the old jaymod i could give one person like 25,000 xp, in NW you can do !give command, EtPub you can just edit in their file. Like that

well there is no command for that, you could try editing the user.db but I dunno if that’s risky or not, and i have no idea how to decifer the XP system for instance:

Cheating is one thing, but they are bitching about losing their 20,000 XP. So i figured i would see if there was anyway i could get some of their XP back. Like i said, i could care either way, but just to stop some complaining. Got to keep the customers happy.

I see it was 2009 when you wrote this but Chuckles have this !23K command what gives a Player 2300 (or 23000) to his amount of XP as a add…
How he do it at NQ ? Jaymod is hard to do but all other mod should can do it like at the NQ ar >RC| NQ.
This “!give XP20000 [n]” dont work at NQ - have test it…
Can you tell me / us how it works please…

You cannot give XP to players in Jaymod. There is no way around it. There is a command called !givexp in silent mod. You just use !givexp <GUID> <skill> xpAMOUNT. But it is kinda lame to just give people xp.
