Nope, this is where you admit you’re impatient and that SD are working on it.

Game released in a less-than perfect state, we know. That SD have released two patched already should show you they care about getting it up and running.

OH yeah they’re working on it… got that awesome fps improvement in the server browser, then called it a weekend. Then tell us hey FREE DLC… how about dlc tha allows the game to run at 40 fps at least…

It’s not DLC, it’s patch or new drivers.

What are your specs ?

Because if you have an ATI / AMD video card, you will need to update your driver later on in order for the game to work. AMD pretty much broke the game in their drivers. It’s their fault for once, not splash damage’s.

Yeah, and it turns out that one of the two major graphics card company that has way more staff, way more ressources than Splash Damage screewed the pooch big time with their drivers. So why don’t you go harrass that graphic card company which is actually responsible for your trouble, instead ?

win7
6 gigs of ram
ati 5770

I have tried everything. new drivers, hot fix, rolled back and to no avail. If it wasnt for the brink 1.4 config program the game would have been totally unplayable.

As for ATI/AMD these cards have been around for a while, if you think for one second that these issues are a surpise for SD, they are not. They knew it and didnt care so they should not be surprised when ppl are upset.

but they wanted to release early, and here is what we get, a patch that fixes the embarrassing server browser fps. then oh well weekend is here so see ya later.

Yes they did. They did that to all of us. It’s going to happen to you /many/ more times in your life as a gamer, unfortunately, so get over it.

What’s rare is the speed of the effort SD are making to repair their game.

You can keep cluttering the forums and crying for attention, or you can go play something else you enjoy or maybe even go and hang out with friends or read a book or play guitar or go to the theater or… well, the possibilities are endless!

All you need to know is spending your time spreading negativity online is bad for your soul, brother.

hey i do play guitar about 15 years playing now, but i feel like was robbed. especailly with no patches comming over the weekend.

Needlessly flaming the game won’t get anything accomplished.

Posting good ideas or commenting on others ideas will.

Brink is still a great game that just needs some patching. Its a brand new IP and should be treated as such.

I am running with an Nivida GeForce 9800GTX, game crashed on launch for me, updated my drivers and game runs perfectly. I know you have ATI but if you have not alreay updated your drivers then you should do that.

omg ty. they stole from me and left me out to dry and work it out for myself(with others). Thing is i love the game mp is refreshing and fun and cool strats are starting to form on all the maps. thats why it hurts.

Do you think if you guys rally together and spread enough anti-Brink that anything’s going to change?

Or is it justice you’re after? You want SD to pay for their crime?

Nothing’s going to change the past. Oops. That’s done and dusted. Shame.

However, the future does look bright as SD are putting actual effort into patching and fixing their product.
