Is there no solution to close websites who spread hacks?

Hello,
like a lot of you, i hate cheaters. Every time i game for 3-4 hours i meet a cheater :???:
Is there no policy about hacking Computer software?
Gosh it would be so nice to react against those hacking loozers sites!!

maybe you can ask the mpaa whether they have means to close the torrent sites which spread illegal stuff n such, chances are the same. or you could use the means of the mpaa, hire a hacker and let him do stuff for you ā€¦ as itā€™s recently in the news, actually iā€™m lmao when i read what the mpaa allow themselves.

i was looking for a brutal force password hacking tool :wink:
yesterday i ftpā€™ed to the site but of course i dont know the passwords and usernames v46
i have searched all info i needed, also name, adres etcā€¦ he doesnt live far away from here - maybe i have to go to the fitness b4 meeting him :smiley: (only joking)

You know, sometimes i have the feeling they follow me, 6 months i had to reinstall cause they followed my etguid imoā€¦
Everytime i was gaming somewhere he was there within 1 hour, strange not

brute force isnā€™t really ā€œhackingā€. if youā€™re serious better find out which software they use and then find the flaws of it. but then again, thatā€™s wasted time which you could better spend by playing ET on your fav server with admins on it. or become admin yourself :wink:

How do you know those people are really cheating? Are you that good that someone needs cheats to beat you? Are you depressed that those people arenā€™t getting killed as often as you? Those random explosions are called artillery - Avoid the blue/red smoke.

Since it happens every 3-4 hours I guess it wonā€™t be a problem for you to record a demo, Iā€™d love to see this cheaters in action (I never meet any cheaters).

Not really, no. tbh Hack is a bad term hijacked years ago. A hack used to be a good thing. The hacks we talk about are more exploits and they arenā€™t illegal as far as Iā€™m aware. No private or personal information is being accessed in using a games own loopholes.

Where have you been hanging out lol? Play on telenet in the weekends and you will meet them. Donā€™t forget to do /guids on etpro servers to get an inside on etpro guids of players, often you see people with fake guids like iam1337 etc.

Maybe you donā€™t know when someone is much better than you, or when he cheats.

I rarely meet cheaters, but on the other hand I mostly play ETPub by now. Most cheat accusations are wrongly done by med-skilled players who think they know the game. And when they meet a player with better tactics/accuracy they yell ā€œCheater!ā€.

I got accused for:

  • Teleport cheat (changed the spawnpoint manually)
  • Shooting through walls (it was simply leaning and then rush)
  • Killing with 3 shots (Ok, I fired 3 shots and got the kill, but there were 2 other guys behind him)
  • Radar hack, since I always know where he is (I had no problems always to hear him coming with my headphones)
  • I survied a direct panzer hit (adrenaline+flakwest on etpub)
  • Speed hack (I simply conserve stamina to sprint-strafe in fire fights)

i meet cheaters every day, when you see ppl with 70 acc and 210 headshotsā€¦
and spec them, they feel so good, and ruining the server, the loooozers

I actually find it quite amusing to annoy cheaters. Shoving them, trapping them in corners and blocking them, jumping around in front of them to block their aim, teamkilling themā€¦ or if the server has TK/complaint limits, bleeding them and goading them into killing me so they get kicked. Itā€™s especially funny when they start calling you a loser, or calling your mother a prostitute in broken english.

This might be funny when you really have found a cheater. But when you do it to a player who does not cheat (you only think he cheats, but he doesnā€™t) then you a loser like he called you.

I understand your concern, but Iā€™ve encountered enough cheaters over the last few years to know one when I see oneā€¦ especially when they change name every 30 seconds, and switch team to avoid you TKing them :wink:

Anybody can change their name every 30 seconds with a few simple binds. Oh but no, anybody who does this must be a cheater!
Oh and letā€™s not forget, not wanting to get TKā€™d = cheating. Damn, I must be a cheater too!

Why else would you want to constantly change your name, if you werenā€™t trying to be as disruptive as possible and avoid being kicked?

You seem to be deliberately missing my point. Iā€™m not giving those examples as proof of cheating, merely supporting evidence.
