Is there anyone intentionally using cards under cobalts, just for own cosmetic preference?

All of my six golds I’ve found/traded up were in Swiss Red. I’m not too fond of the fragment cobalt skin. I do really like the Carbon silver, though.

I take the gold swiss before any bling so far…so for my main man Arty with br-16 i use swiss…but for skyhammer i have the br and shard and for my vasselini moa with fragment just for the augments

I’ve been thinking, and I’d like for there to be more skins per loadout class, just some more cosmetic options all around would be nice. The higher you go the more fancy the designs or something.

I´ve gotten the best cards in silver and bronze though.
Does this mean that I´m lucky?
I do like the silver look though. Gold + Red looks swag too. Wouldn´t you agree?

Yes of course!

Getting desiring cosmetic is important, but Number One Priority is to get an option that you want!

I had to bought couple of loadouts in Bronze at store, with the option that I wanted because I just couldn’t get those in Bronze, or rather in Silver…

Anyway, Swiss Red FTW!!

  1. Fragment - Not to blue, but still has some lines of blue, anyways… Nice one!
  2. Swiss - It’s like completely other skin, and not gold, which is what makes it so special.
  3. Urban - I’ve got my best loadouts in urban… Matter of luck :blush:
  4. Bamboo - I like bamboo, but not on all weapons
  5. Crown - Crown is good for me on all weapons, but on certain, not as good as bamboo :wink:
  6. Shard - Too blue for me, but still nice to have one
  7. Carbon - I don’t hate it, but those white lines ruins it for me… Would prefer full black color or (e.g. M4A1 - Black weapon, white mag and part where you hold weapon) so black with parts of white.
  8. Woodland - Would match it with Carbon, but it is too common because bronze doesn’t have other type of skins.

I like variety…of course I don’t have many good cards above bronze…but I do have a silver Bush I like and a gold Fragger.

Ideally my perfect loadout would be a grey and blue cobalt, red gold, and a silver :stuck_out_tongue:

If you look at carbon from far away you wouldnt notice it, or just barely… Anyways carbon kinda represents black color, so they can change it to full black without changing name :wink:

In any game I play, be it the HUD in fallout, the team color in Supreme Commander or Planetary Annihilation, or my cammos in DB, I always go with white. So silver for me. Everything else is meh. Ive got every card I need in silver at this point.

I have 2 Cobalts Aura loadouts. 1 shard and 1 platinum. Personally I like using shard better because it’s just cool but I’m torn between the Platinum and Shard loadout because the shard one is the best Blishlok loadout but I hate it while the Platinum one is like the all healer loadout.
As for gold, I have 2 Crown Skyhammers, 1 Bamboo Sawbonez which is shite, 1 Crown Sparks which is also the best loadout I have for her and 1 Swiss Red Stoker but is the worst loadout card! And Swiss Red is my favorite skin so this is similar to the Aura case

I don’t really like the stright blue cobalts. Srsly. Of course they’re a status symbol in a certain way, but since even a “noob” on lv 1 could get a cobalt with luck out of a normal case (Like me xP) I think that only a whole team out of cobalts can show a little bit of a “good status”.

But since every card above bronze is only for the skin and since the “status” is nothing for me, i prefer skins that i like.

Got the silver today and really love it, very nice skin and my favourite weapons.

Kira:

I actually play this skin because i got no other good one AND because i can play with the br. But because the weapon is not really blue, i do’nt have a problem with it.

Skyhammer:

I only play this skin - And i don’t want to trade it up - or the Alienware Skin. But I only play the Alienware because of the weapon not because of the skin itself.

Redeye:

Got it from a normal case after a game. Since i love the weapon, i use it, because i musn’t pay for another skin.

Merc-Team:

Skyhammer - Silver
Vassili - Silver
Aura - Special Edition - Alienware

Okay. After that: I love the silver cards with this black-skin-look. Because of that i LOVE my Skyhammer and my Vassili card. But from time to time I use gold skins, too, for example the red Vassili, since it is another look.

Btw: Even if the weapon is blue: I fucking love my cobalt rhino, since it is my first cobalt and I got it from one of my first boxes after a game on lv 1-3!

I will never ever use Cobalts. I’m not a fan of blue color. If I get a cobalt loadout I will always trade it with another player when trading finally arrives to Dirty Bomb.

I might keep cobalts for medics just because they fit thematically.

From golds my favorite is Crown and Red Swiss. However, there are some exceptions. I like Red Swiss only if it’s a shiny texture, otherwise I despise it. For instance, I recently traded up for gold Kira and received ugly Stark in Red Swiss that looks like it was painted by accident.

Crown is good but I don’t understand why it can’t be fully golden? Instead we have lime gold. That’s a wasted potential.

Bamboo is good on Fletcher. You know why. Don’t call me a racist!

I want to like Urban Silver. Gray shotguns are awesome but that pixelization kills it for me. Give it other pattern!

Carbon Silver is awesome on shotguns as well. Have you seen Hollunds with it? Pure beauty.

I use cards of a lower “value” for weapon/augment preference, I have many a silver nader for instance that I don’t use, as I prefer the iron card I have for her, since it has crotzni and explodyemerojerkjerm,nern (i think that is how you spell it)

Also CW Phantom, but has beckhill instead of katana so I use a silver I crafted with KEK and Katana, ultimate combo also the augment that gives you extra time and I think chopper too.
