Is there anyone intentionally using cards under cobalts, just for own cosmetic preference?

I am, as I don’t really like how the Cobalts look, especially the flashy blue weapon skins.

My mains are:
Gold Swiss Phoenix
Gold Swiss Arty
Bronze Proxy (until maybe I can get a Gold Swiss)
Bronze Fletcher (like the Bronze skin more than any others)

Of course, if they ever allow for using the Default skins over the loadouts, I would apply the Default skins to every card I have, as I think they look better than any other skin available, especially with how the weapons are goobed up with camo patterns and shiny designs.

Yup, Cobalt Shard with Shiny weapon. I don’t like that too.

You lucky one… I’m starving to death for Swiss Red.

Anyway, I totally agree with the Default skin. They somehow looks more ‘natural’ for me too. Sometimes, non-camo is better yeah.

Absolutely, this weekend I got very lucky and got good loadouts for both Phoenix (KE73) and Arty (B81) in the Swiss Red using the Trade-In system, after many attempts of getting Crown and Bamboo. Had lots of Golds I didn’t want to use because of it, and since I didn’t want to Trade-Up to Cobalt I figured I might as well take some more shots at the Swiss Red.

I am not a fan of the color blue so Cobalt cards are fairly worthless to me. I much prefer Swiss Red if anything but I pretty much use bronze only for most of my mercs since I don’t trade-up often for the higher priced cosmetic cards.

I favor the carbon fiber and swiss camos. But I highly recommend playing with cobalts because it sometimes tricks the enemy to think that you’re a friendly, and causes them to hesitate.

If I could use default skins with all the perks of a Bronze card, I would. I often find those the best looking.

I’m really not a fan of Cobalt as a whole, and I rarely use the ones I have. I mostly stick to Gold - unless I find Silver fits a specific merc better ( Sparks comes to mind ), or I don’t use the merc often enough to be bothered with anything above Bronze.

I would kill for a Swiss Red Nader, however - any one with Crotzni.

I use whatever card is the best of the highest rarity. For instance I use a silver Fletcher solely because it has the empire-9 (his best weapon after his sticky bombs). The cobalt I got for Sparks actually happened to be a good card with the empire-9 and potent packs (which make her normally mediocre medpacks decent).

This is honestly my favorite for Kira, I really like the designs and how on the pants it’s faded, so the design doesn’t become obnoxious.

Silver - Urban, and Carbon which is 2 types.

Gold - Swiss Red, Crown, Bamboo, so 3 types.

Cobalt -Fragment, Shard 2 types.

So if you want one loadout with option and skin that you want, Silver and Cobalt is 1/18 possibility, and Gold is 1/27.

Getting Gold that you desire is the hardest.

I like to use the MA42 / MA95 Thunders in Iron 'cause the MK looks wonderful in Iron colours (That and I have yet to get a bronze of either lmao)

Bamboo is great. I quite don’t understand why people like swiss-red. It’s like the most unaesthetic skin imo. Partial shiny red parts paired with black-red-green camo is just hurting eyes. A whole Alpenflage body would be much better.

I got a Shard MA42 Thunder and I really don’t like the look of it at all. The gun is a giant wad of blue without any details added except the black barrel and stock. Thunder himself might aswell be a blue Grimace making his way to McDonalds. I’d kill to trade for a royal gold version of it.
