You know, I have been forced to use loadout cards with Double Time to not die just because whenever this ‘reload cancel’ kicked in. If I do not have it, I end up watching the animation finish without getting a new clip. Sometimes even thrice in a row, while frantically wall jumping to stay alive.
So I guess I have a question, does this ‘reload cancel’ also affect abilities? Such as skyhammer’s airstrike throw? So many times I have watched the animation finish without getting my throw. Sometimes even multiple throws in a row.

i never had any problems reload cancelling in this game. i think its about how you reload cancel, unless somebody else also has this ‘bug’ of yours

Sprinting cancels reload is only effective when NOT using a loadout with double time. It PREVENTS you from sprinting(aka reload cancelling) when reloading without double time on your loadout. It does server a purpose, for people who hate it when they go to sprint and it cancels their reload(not the reload animation).

aha, so either it cancels your sprint to let you reload, or it cancels your reload to let you sprint. got it.
can we give this button 2 options, one for when you have a class with double time, and one for when you dont have a class with doubletime?
nope. normal people use reload cancel a lot. its very effective in FPS.
the thing i walk into mostly is that i reload my sniper with 2 bullets left, i see an enemy, i reload cancel (with or without getting the bullets from the reload), and shoot them. with double time i cant do that anymore. and its really annoying for an aggresive sniper like me to have to wait until the reload finishes so that i can kill the guy that i saw.
