Is it possible to mute players

Hi all.

I would like to know if it is possible to mute certain players.
And if so how.
Also does it affect all chat or only general chat (not team)

hi
afaik theres only 2 ways to mute a player

1 by calling a vote to mute him
2 if ur a ref , u have a mute player option

I am admin on server and I was hoping there was a way to do it via rcon.

if u set a ref password , u can then login as the ref and by pressing the esc key u have a ref option at top of list , making it very easy to carry out all manner of server functions
