I have a question.
I am about to replace my ATI Radeon 9200SE for a newer card, the NVidia 6800GT with SLI technology.
I will most likely connect 2 19" monitors to it.
but this also brought up a question. I once read something about certain programs that cause full system lock up on dual monitor systems.
I wonder if anybody knows if this will or will not be the case with Enemy Territory.
is ET SLI dual screen compattible?
About ET and SLI: http://www.anandtech.com/video/showdoc.aspx?i=2284&p=16
About dual monitor. I’ve had problems with running ET on my second output on the graphics card. The ET window kept loosing focus, when the mouse was on the other screen.
ET + 2 monitors is fine here…
( Radeon 9700p )
Seems to be fine for all the 2+ monitor people I know, so… yay
Im guessing by 2 monitors you mean like super widescreen. I tried that with Doom 3, was a bit off putting have the crosshair on the join of the monitors so i just stuck with 1 screen.

no-one said anything about “super widescreen”
Oh right, thought he actually meant running it across 2 monitors… like this http://darkangel.diesa.co.uk/pics/D3-super-widscreen.jpg
res is 2048x768
I am using duals with ET, tried the streatching technique but its abit ugly unless you have two tft’s which are stick together but it works fine for having irc on one monitor and the game on the other
SLI requires two cards…and a motherboard that supports it… thats the whole point… nothing to do with monitors imo (see chrukers link)
;X same case as DA thought he mean’t stretching it not just using et while having two monitors plugged in
