Does anybody know what the DLC will consist of? So far, all I’ve heard are rumours.

Take a look at this news update then:

Yeah here’s the info

On top of that, the Agents of Change DLC is just on the horizon, slated for release in June. The pack will bring new maps, abilities, character customization options and weapon attachments to Brink, while also raising the level cap to 24. Here’s a full list of the DLC content:

New Maps

Founders’ Tower – The revolution finally reaches the island’s iconic spire and takes the battle for the Ark to dizzying heights.
Labs – Venture into the depths of the Ark’s original research and development laboratories, a submerged high-tech facility so far untouched by the civil war.
New Player Abilities

UAV – This stealthy and lethal device allows Operatives to automatically mark nearby enemies on their radar. For more explosive fun, they can even take direct control of the UAV and detonate it near unsuspecting foes.
Napalm Grenade – Soldiers can use this new grenade to cover an area in a sea of deadly flames.
Pyro Mine – Engineers can plant these mines and leave enemies in the epicenter of a massive napalm explosion.
Field Regen Unit – Medics can deploy these units to increase the health regeneration of any nearby teammates.
Tactical Scanner – This universal ability allows players to reveal the active buffs of their opponents, allowing them to pick off enemies more strategically.
New Weapon Attachments

Bayonets – Gain the edge in melee combat and cause extra damage with these deadly blades.
Weapon Shields – Take cover from enemy fire and prevent headshot bonus damage behind riot-style shields.
New Character Outfits

The Sad Punk – Add a touch of Steampunk to your Resistance character.
The Limey – Bring order to the Ark with this outfit inspired by traditional European police lawmen.

Wish it would come out soon.

As for the DLC you can always see if it is available by going to xbox.com and doing a search on marketplace from your computer (http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-US/Product/Brink/66acd000-77fe-1000-9115-d802425307d9). It might take you 30 seconds of actual effort to accomplish.

As for what the DLC actually includes, there are plenty of threads on the subject, try using the search function on this forum or doing a Google search using ‘Brink DLC’ (yes, the official response is the first one listed). Complicated, I know.

Dude, seriously, why so mean?

He could do that, or he could post here and lets us join in on the post count bumping :penguin:

(iezza) #11

It might have been included in a patch?

(Glyph) #12

Because many people are downright lazy. They would rather bother others for help rather than learning how to help themselves. I continue to read pointless, yes pointless, threads on these forums from people that simply fail to read other threads, entire posts prior to their entering the conversation, do zero reserch before asking questions, etc. They add absolutely nothing to the community.

You asked a basic question, one that could have been answered with very little effort on your part. Don’t you think that if the DLC was actually released there would be a thread announcing it? I understand that you only have 2 hours of online time left but you could have easily checked online and wasted maybe 2 minutes looking for it. If it is really that important to you then that would be worth the 2 minutes to me.

This forum is full of the same few topics every day mostly because the posters would rather ask their question(s) than to actually look for the answer. If you genuinely looked for the answer and were unable to find it then sure, I’d have no problem answering your question for you. Can you honestly tell me tell me that you looked for the answer prior to posting your question?

(Glyph) #14

I’ll take that response as a ‘no’ to my question then.

EDIT: You probably spent more time trying to find that image than you did looking for the answer to your own question.

(iezza) #15

Dude, take a chill, i asked a question, it got answered, you are begining to act like a Troll.

(NRGIZER36) #16

ok the postin does get out of control but it seems that if its not on the first page then it will get asked again but explaining nicely rather than all annoyed is so much more effective i for one know that your posts will get lost past a certain point i tried to give A COD mappack that i won away and had no takers !!!

I actually find it annoying myself when people treat the forum like it’s their personal search engine.

That’s like me asking some dude at a laundry mat if he’d fold my clothes for me since I think it appears he has nothing better to do. (Even though he’s there to do his own laundry and I’m capable of folding my own clothes.)

No, because

You dont have to open his thread.
You dont have reply.
You could continue on your way.

No one forces you to reply, or even browse threads you dont care about.

He does, however, have to trawl the pages for the interesting threads because they’ve pushed off by useless threads that have no need to exist.

This “you don’t need to read it and reply” crap is a poor excuse for a poor thread existing, it takes less time to actually search for the answer which obviously exists ,than create an unnecessary thread then check back on it to see if someone has answered (then more time spent defending the creation of the said thread in the 1st place).
