INVALID CDKEY?!!!!?

For some reason now,when ever i try to connect to a server it gives me a error message about the cdkey,which is weird cuz this game is free and doesnt need a cdkey.What do i need to do???I NEED TO PLAY ET…AAAAHHHHH!!! :weird:

You will probably get more help from the General forum. It sounds like a punkbuster error to me, but hopefully someone else will have a more precise explaination.

is it the “cd-key is in use with other ip” - message?? then just delete the etkey - file in the main directory!!! …, get a punkbuster update!!!

I had this problem, and found the fix (Or at least something that lets me play :slight_smile: )

You gotta test your key every time you try to enter a server. Bring down the consule and type “pb_cdkeyreg” If it locks up for a minute, or returns with an attemt to connect, but no response, your going to need to reset your internet connection. After that, I try the test again, and it works every time. Maybe there is another way to do it, but this is how I get it to work.
